The latest weirdness

My Word Perfect problem seems to have solved itself, so I decided to install
Camedia on my new computer. That's the program that goes with my digital
camera and all the photos I have stored. The computer tells me there's
something entirely different on the CD! I checked it ion the old computer,
and it's definitely the right CD. I don't understand. There's only one CD
drive on the new computer, and I've been playing a music CD in it. It
obviously recognized that one. Why doesn't it recognize Camedia? I suppose
I'll have to reboot and see if that does anything.

Do you suppose it all has something to do with XP or maybe with Yahoo?
I know zilch about computers but with XP and my Verizon hookup with
Yahoo, I seem to get an awful lot of error messages. And to think I
complained about AOL. LOL

Norma,
The "professional" yahoo email that you were upgraded to "for free" by vz has been
royally messed up since last Friday. I do not if it is Yahoo or Vz but outgoing
mail is a disaster. It is is _not_ you or your machine.

Or maybe it's a combination of the two. I know several people told me I
should have XP instead of ME, which I had before, but I'm beginning to
wonder. ;-)

I didn't have problems with Yahoo on the old computer, but it wasn't the
same. My Yahoo home page is completely different on the two computers.
