Forgive me for cross-posting this message, but I am ticked!
FEMA finally arrived in Newmarket New Hampshire Friday. They informed my
daughter they couldn't possibly visit ever town or home. However, the
FEBBLE FEMA Guy told her that FEMA was requesting $5 Million in aid (FOR
THE WHOLE STATE of NEW HAMPSHIRE)! Her town of Newmarket New Hampshire
has twice that amount of damage! The Red Cross held a "word of mouth"
meeting in her Condo complex today offering assistance with groceries.
Karen was 10th in line and 50 plus were behind her. The man in charge
informed everyone that he hadn't expected such a huge turnout and only
had one assistant to help each person fll out forms that take up to one
hour apiece! Karen quickly informed the DUD that she wasn't waiting in
line for 10 hours. He promised to call in more help tomorrow...
The Vultures are knocking on their doors. A salesman from The Gas
Company was telling everyone today that they need to sign up for new hot
water heaters and he can get them a volume discount if they all,(93
condo owners), sign up for a new one at the same time!
My son in law has worked for the Massachuettes State Mental Institution
for 27 years. He has been on vacation for the past week. He got a new
female Boss this week and he received a phone call from her Friday
informing him that she is eliminating(downsizing)his job and three
others in his department that have been there about the same amount of
time. I suspect the B*tch is going to hire new people at much less money.
Judy has forbiden me to get on a plane and fly to New Hampshire.

I'm so sorry to hear about your son-in-law's job Robert. If she hires
replacements that is illegal. But who would want to work for someone
like that anyway? She will be a miserable boss, one with no heart.

Don't blame you a bit, Robert, but you did support this administration,
after all. FEMA worked fine under Clinton. And since Mass. is a blue
state, your son-in-law probably has a union who will represent him in
this arbitrary & unfair 'downsizing'. He may get a ton of money if they
want to eliminate his job badly enough. After 27 years, he may want to
find something else to do ~ maybe in the private sector?
