I Bought a New Car

It's a Nissan Altima.

I'm enjoying it, and promptly took it on a road trip to visit my mother and
aunt.

My mother likes that the doors are bigger than on the last car, and there is
a handle above the passenger door in the back seat. This makes it easier for
her to get out.

And they both like the automatic light feature, since the lights stay on
long enough for them to see their way to the steps before shutting
themselves off.

I, on the other hand, am enamoured of the four nice brand new tires (my old
car needed them), and the radio controls on the steering wheel.

Congratulations! New cars are such fun. I know you will really enjoy

I wish I could think of a logical reason to buy a new car - just
wanting isn't good enough when my 12 yr. old and 8 yr. old ones run so
well.

Well, I only had one, and it was 14, so I really felt I needed something
newer. And I got a fairly good deal by buying a 2006 after the 2007's were

sounds like a great buy... and the headlights staying on sounds really
nice. we've found that there are so many new 'surprise and delight'
features on new cars, that it's difficult to compare them. although my
heart does go out to people who bought cars a few years ago with the first
release of Onstar. we read the other day that the original Onstar won't
work after some new technology change (i forgot what) goes into effect.
