but, but, I didn't understand it at all... How can we share the same darn
language with our British friends and not understand each other's humor
(oops, humour....)? :) I need a translation script...

You do remember, don't you, david, what Winston Churchill said about our two

site
there are many by him, some of the Ramsbottom Family of Albert and the Lion
fame. There are quite a few other resussitations by many other old time
funny men and women that should keep you occupied for hours.
there is one, by the way, by Marriott Edgar about Harold and william the
conqueror, recited by Marriott Edgar himself.

I rally enjoyed this site, I bookmarked it & forgot to post a reply
back to you. I loved hearing my Mum recite "The Lion has eaten our
Albert" it's bringing tears to my eyes to remember those times, she
died a couple of years ago.
She also used to recite "our Sal's new bonnet" which we loved but the
younger generation seem too sophisticated for it :)
I think the accents up North are great & it sounds funnier somehow.
