Earthlink Problems Again?

I have run into lots of problems during the last week or so. Everything
seems to work fine unless I want to do something other than work on
photos or play games on the computer. Today, so far, everything is
working just fine. That seems to happen about once every other day or
two. The rest of the time I cannot connect with anything for e-mail nor
news groups. I think it is the East and West servers of Earthlink. Any
one else running into the same problems lately?

looks like you can post ok... is it email where you're having problems?
are you getting error messages?

Everything is working fine today. But when it doesn't, I get all kinds
of messages such as XX refuses, There is a problem in connecting to XX,
etc. That is all I get, no incoming email nor news groups such as
alt.binaries.photos.original and no posting to either. I think it has to
do with their blasted servers, just like Dalin and I and others had a
while back.

those messages sound more like connectivity issues - Not earthlink issues.
sometimes i try to link to a website and it has too much traffic or is down
for repair or whatever and i receive such messages. in fact, just this
morning i accessed a website with firefox and with IE7 i received a
'website not found' message... that might be a setting i need to twiddle
with... but sitting here on the sidelines, it doesn't sound like
earthlink... :)
