I heard about the last novel from Kazuo Ishiguro, that seems a very touching
story.
In French the title is "Au près de moi toujours"
"Close to me for ever" it's a story about special orphans living in a
special college ... I'm in hurry to read it.

That sounds like something *I* would like, Huguette.
I am reading "The White Lioness" by Henning Mankell. The
author is Swedish and now divides his time between Sweden and
Mozambique. This book is also divided between Sweden and
Africa--in this case, South Africa. I guess one can't really

call it a mystery, rather it's a police procedural.... I like
the Swedish protagonist because he is very human.
I always enjoy these threads....
