the yard and stumbled to the living room with a cuppa coffee, black and hot
just like my ... never mind.
So, I'm watching the news from Atlanta( we're 100 miles north of
Atlanta). The usual stuff: last night's drive -by shooting, last night's
fatal traffic accident, last night's politician caught by the IRS, the
weather and then a picture of a gentle looking elderly black lady with the
closed caption ... 75 year-old lady arrested for murder... "HI this is Billy
Mayes here talking about our new cleaner...shut off the sound.
It goes like this: (true story) a 75 year-old lady in a nursing home
shot an 82 year-old man in an Atlanta nursing home because she found him
with another woman.
Now, like that dumb black ouji? ball, several questions appeared in my
head. Remember I haven't had my coffee yet.
Are there more guns in Atlanta than in Bahgdad?

When I immigrated to Israel, some people asked:
Isn't it dangerous living over there?
So I explain that I've only been shot at twice ...
once in Jacksonville, Florida, and
once on the Long Island RR enroute back to NYC.

How did the lady get a gun?
The big question...Georgia has capital punishment. What do they do with
a 75-year old murderer?
Can you you rehabilatate someone 75?
Should you make it legal for someone 75 or older to commit murder?
Should you physically punish a 75 year old? i.e. withholding dentures
and putting on a diet of corn on the cob?
This is a all true, watch your TV for updates.
Stan(probably the big question is an 82 year old man hmnn...Paul Newman is
80)
