Di...
Apparently I'm a trend-setter!
Watched a TV documentary about the number of older folk who are returning to
the workforce these days.

Di...
LOL! Very good Huguette! I really enjoy it too. I was trying to find
something clever to say to you in Italian, but figured you would prefer to
practise English! LOL!
Di....;-)

Maybe they all made the same mistake that I did. I should have weaned off
rather than gone cold turkey!!!

**Lin**...
And isn't she getting good at it? :-)

Di...
LOL! I'll suggest it for a U3A course!
Di.....:)

Di...
Ha! If I didn't know you better I'd be wondering about that 'fixed up
surgically quip!! :)
You're doing very nicely on your foreign language!!!
Di.....;-))

Jean B....
I'd like to go back to work if I could find a stress-free job....

Lonestar...
LOL! Try being a Greeter at Wal-Mart or maybe a School Crossing Guard.
I pass thru two school zones daily, the crossing guards are sitting in
lawn chairs under umbrellas, sipping giant slurpee drinks. I doubt that
any children ever "walk" that crossing. Yer only stress would be lookin
for a porta potty.
Robert :-)

Jean B....
Well, I am thinking I might be a cashier at a store--or, even
better, work in a library. I need to find a library that
doesn't require a degree in library science.

Di...
There you go Jean! Multi-skill! Become a lolly-pop lady and watch the
world go by!
Di.....:)

Di...
LOL! Way to go, Jerry!
Di.....:)

Norma...
Good thinking. I'm on your side.
Norma

Jean B....

Di...
Now there's a good idea! I wonder if volunteering first would give you a
foot in the door?
Would you like to do some more study? Would it take long to complete the
required library science degree?
You have a great brain, Jean, I'm sure you'd love the challenge.
Di <~~~~ full of really, really good ideas for other folk!

Joy...
What a dream!

Jean B....
That's the problem!

Norma...
There ain't no such critter. LOL My last job came close but even
so....
Norma

Di...
LOL! I think manageable stress is OK....when it gets to be debilitating
it's time to move on, methinks!
Di.....:)
Well, I do see such books: Chinese for Foodies, Japanese for
Manga Lovers (not the real titles).... Why not Italian for
Opera Lovers. It makes sense to me! Come to think of it, I
wonder if there is such a site.

Di...
She is 100% better at English than I am at French....
Di....:)

Di.....:)

Di...
LOL! Did you look?
Di.....:)

Jean B....

Huguette...
I don't remember who said : I want to learn :
German to talk to horses
Italian for love
English to talk to birds
and French to talk to men ...........
Huguette ;-))

Di...
Wonderful, Huguette!
Di....:)
No, I was too busy wasting time on genealogy and food searches.
