New pictures

I just posted a picture of two of my grandchildren on the Blog David is 16
and his little cousin Kaci will be 3 in May. She just loves him, he just
tolerates her!

Some times kids with autism have a real struggle with relationships, he
doesn't seem to have that problem with her though, I have to get after her
quite a bit because she'll try to take everything away from David, and he
lets her! I told her that she's much to little to be a bully!! (>:

Deep inside I'm sure he loves her as well as tolerates her. She is obviously
overcome with joy and love for him.

I'm sure he does love her, he just shows it differently then typical people.
He knows that she's a "baby" and whenever we all go out together he takes
her hand. She has a speech problem and I think they can relate ro each
other.

My love to you, your grandchildren and the whole family. Having children
with special needs takes extra love and attention. It's obvious your family
overflows with love.

David has taught us a lot, we now look at people with special needs
differently then we did before. He's a sweetheart and spends most of his
vacations here with us. He has his routines that have to be followed. One of
them that I especially enjoy is our daily walk, rain, shine,or snow, along
the river.>

I've put another of Eric and Ryan with Santa, now there's 4 out of 5 of my
grandchildren, If you don't think I'm using to much space, I think I'll find
one of Elizabeth and then all of my grandchildren will be there!
