..forgot to mention this. The other day Dalin talked about her home
grown plants being 'leggy'.
When it comes to tomatoes, if I am buying tomato sets, I will choose the
long leggy ones for good reason. You see, the tomato plant is one that
will grow roots from any part of itself that touches soil. The longer
the plant, the deeper I can plant it. (If they are extremely long, then
compromise by laying half the length horizontally.)
More roots = better plant.
Plant tomato sets all the way up to their leaves.
