I just found out today that instead of going on daylight saving time
the first Sun. in April, we will go on it the second Sunday in March.
And instead of going off the last Sun. in Oct. it will be the first
Sun. in Nov. I wish they would just leave it on DST all year.

uh... there's a Windows update fur this, ya'll... it's optional now but
will be mandatory soon... takes a few minutes...

But the Windoze update is only for XP and up. I think I posted a link
to a non-MS patch to fix it, didn't I? If not, I can go look for it.
|
and for australia folks... there's another one for the new time rules
adopted there... :)

I much prefer daylight saving time so always glad to have it arrive and
sorry to have it leave. Thus I wouldn't care if it was on all year long.

You have my vote JD! (in fact, if I don't get caught I will cast many

I'd like to see it that way too. Our summers are so short, it does
make it lighter at night and we like that.

It would be lighter no matter what the clock read!
**Dalin**...
|
Sure, but we mostly live by the clock and that being the case we get
an extra hour of daylight. Of course, when we really need it is in
the winter more than the summer.

I don't care whether we're on DST or not, I just hate the time change. Pick
one or the other and stick with it.
Isn't it Arizona that opts out?

I dunno. But yes. Just leave them alone.

I'll cancel out at least one of your votes. :-)

I'd rather be on it all year because our winters are so dark here, it
would give us an extra hour of daylight. But whichever it is, I wish
we would just stay on one time.

i confess. if the clock on my computer is an hour off, I'll never know or
care...:)

That's how I feel about a car clock. Makes no difference to me if it's only
correct part of the year.
david...
|
thanks, MJ... on my last car, the clock was right half the year... wasn't
worth the bother to try and reset it... :) I'm with you... :)

I'd rather be on DST because I don't get up very early (although I'm
almost always up by the crack of noon) so I prefer darker mornings.

There is absolutely no change in the hours of daylight - ever !!!!
(Unless it is really, really, cloudy)
