I enjoy Mick's narratives. I have heard that all writing is
"autobiographical". There seems to be so many good writers in this group.

I saved your poem "Struggle" Stan. It does bring tears to my eyes but
I though it was beautiful. Profound. Have you ever tried your hand
at haiku? I think it's a beautiful form of expression.

My oldest daughter, Jean, is deep into our family genealogy. She has
traced one family back to the 1400's in England and it appears that we
are distantly related to Winston Churchill. Who knows, you and I may be
related in some way, probably many of us are distantly related.

diary. It would have been of great interest to following generations. I was
fascinated by "The Diary of Samuel Pepys" a true day-to-day account to the
author living in 17th century London. I also enjoy reading letters and
journals from the Civil War.

experience each day.

Stan,
I mentioned that there are good writer's on this group. You were one that I
enjoy reading and you, I feel are very good and creative. I normally don't
like poetry but I love Bette writing. I like your "outdoors" writing. A
lot of unique folks here with a myriad of talents including writing and
photography among other things.
