gruffydd...
If you have VERY recently painted and otherwise decorated the kitchen and
you put a pressure cooker [making stew] on and CERTAINLY do NOT leave it
unattended until it has reached pressure and the heat can be turned down.

Chakolate...
Oh, dear! Was any other damage done, say by the lid? Or did it all
come out the vent?

I had done the kitchen and Lady wife had put a stew together intending to
leave it to do whilst she went out for an hour. She had it come up to
temperature etc, and then turned the switch on the hob to reduce the heat
BUT in her haste and unbeknownst she went over the lowest setting to the
HIGH. are you with me?
When she returned two hours later, the whole kitchen had been repainted a
mucky shade of brown. the entire contents of the thing had escaped as steam
and as you know, steam gets to places you did not know were there

Norma...
Try using a bright yellow or pale green for trim and maybe you won't
have to paint the whole kitchen over.

Ugh!

Jean B....
OMG! That's awful! Here *I* thought I had a mess when I
dropped a container of baby food on the floor and the contents
shot up onto the ceiling and all over the appliances and walls.

NOspam...
ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHh- now I KNOW why I am so nervous arounbd pressure
cookers!

Goromoff...
ah yes, the good old pressure cooker. Do you know mate, if you went about
it the right way, you could patent the idea of harnessing steam and could
found a whole new industry - railway locomotives, water pumps, spinning and
weaving mills and all that stuff!

However, if the dear lady wanted to repaint the kitchen, there are
perfectly good paint sprayers on the market!

One thing stands out mate, and we can all be thankful - it was SHE wot done
it and not YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!

Arch (TX)...
Aaahh! But she probably left with instructions for him to keep an eye on
the pressure cooker so that it doesn't get too hot! Not her fault! LOL
