It's almost here. I just saw a pair of Canadian geese flying low and
banking toward the pond.

BTW, I meant to write that the Canadian geese stay here all winter.

A pretty sight I'm sure. I love to see large birds flying but don't see many
here. We used to see a lot of ducks who came to winter but with our
increasing building and water restrictions there are no more man made lakes
and landscaping pools for them to rest a bit. :-(((

They may be sticking around somewhere in town but the little pond here
freezes sometimes and after the first freezing, the geese disappear. I
just sent to the blog a photo I took in November.

Loved your picture of the pond, lake whatever that was. They looked a little
cold though.
