No more rain please

Well, the ground is totally saturated and my sump pump is running about
every 30 seconds. Towns just West of us are under water. Many homes have
been damaged and the contents ruined. I can't remember when we have had as
much rain as the past five days (or more). I don't know how Chak made out
but our part of Indiana is swamped.

But it sounds like you didn't get any damage, Don - that's great! It's
rained a lot here but nothing spectacular. My landlord keeps grumbling
that the more it rains the more often he has to cut the grass, but it's
never dry long enough.

Gee, Don, I didn't know you were getting a serious amount of
rain. Thank goodness you have that sump pump!

Sounds like you have a pool now.
Hope the sun shines out your way soon. We've had a couple of cloudy
days with an occasional, short lasting sprinkle. Supposed to rain this
afternoon.

Have you got a back up pump Don? I've been watching the fires out
west and had no idea you had so much rain. I hope your beautiful home
doesn't get flooded. :-(
