Goromoff...
I need to check up on my times in order to link up with the eastern US.

Specifically, I need to coordinate against "2.00pm (14.00hrs) Eastern
Standard Time".

I am GMT (BST) and am not sure whether I am looking at minus 5 or minus 6
hours.

I have checked a 'time zone' site which quotes 'Eastern Time'.

Question. Are Eastern and Eastern Standard Time one and the same?

Jean B....
Eastern probably encompasses Eastern Standard Time and
Daylight Savings time. It is 8:36 AM here in that time zone....

Goromoff...
so I'm looking at a five hour difference, Jean. Thank you.

Only there is a live forum with which I might like to link and participate,
but there is no point in my registering for it if the timing is way out.

Bigbazza...
Is this of any interest to you....Goromoff ?

Joy...
Depending on the time of year, it could be Eastern Standard Time or Eastern
Daylight Savings Time. You can go to
various parts of the world. That's what I do when I really need to know
what time it is somewhere else. I used to have what I considered a better
one, but I lost the url. This does work.
