Paco,,,...
They say there are more bacteria on a cell phone than
on a toilet seat.

david...
not surprising. a recent ABC study proved that the toilet seat is the
cleanest part of restrooms, the floor being the most infected with
bacteria, followed by the sink and faucets...

however, the nice thing about cell phone bacteria is that they're yours...
sorta like the bacteria on your comb, in your purse, in your shorts,
between your toes... ...

mmj1...
I saw that report and was shocked that was the case.

Anne Jackson...
Surely that would depend on what you do with it....apart
from making and taking calls?

Jean B....

Joy...
That was my thought, too. Of course I've seen (or heard) people talking on
cell phones in just about any place or situation imaginable, including the
restroom.

Jean B....
Sigh. I'm glad I will never be tempted to do that. :-)
That's hard to believe. I think the tend to retain some
water, and that they can be quite "dirty".

Chakolate...
But they are regularly bleached.

Jean B....
IF one uses bleach. Which I don't. Mayhaps I should use some
for my white laundry. What are the environmental consequences?

Chakolate...
Tremendously bad negative effects of chlorine in general, but it's
industrial applications that do the damage. Environmental damage from
domestic/household chlorine use is minimal.

Norma...
I haven't used bleach in years and I buy laundry powders or liquids
that have no perfume or dye. It's just a personal preference. The
only allergy I have is to shellfish.

...and butterbeans and spinach.
Guess who :- )
BUT it adds up.
