**Dalin**...
I just checked the blog. How nice that you found the placards after
all this long time. Where were they? That's neat to have that next
to Cooper's picture. :-)

JD Cooper...
hey, Dalin! I failed to find out where Bones came across the thing. I
was so flabergasted I forgot to ask. To say I'd forgotten the thing is
an understatement for sure.

Speaking of ghosts (horse related), Something else weird happened last
week while up there that I thought I'd mention because it has me
puzzled. By way of setting up this story I ask you to remember that my
'true love' (Kathy was my cowgirl partner and true love)) was the girl
that sold my horses, saddles and tack while I was in Vietnam and took
off whith a shoe salesman. a-n-y-h-o-o-o-o-o, while I was visting my Mom
she happened to mention that she'd recieved a Mother's Day card from
Kathy and later on a phone call. Kathy lives out of state and found Mom
via the internet white pages simply by remembering Mom's name and town.
After 39 years Kathy comes out of the woodwork! Oddly, she told Mom that
she still has every letter and every single thing I sent her while I was
overseas. In fact, she talked to Mom for more than an hour and told her
every single detail of her life including where she lives and how to get
ahold of her in about twenty different ways. I have puzzled over this
all week. It makes no sense at all. Why in the world would she do that?

Anyhoo... the placard find was a real treasure.

**Dalin**...
Well it sure sounds to me like Kathy would like to hear from you. Is
she divorced from the shoe salesman? Maybe she's thinking of the road
not taken way back then and would like to take it now.

Sounds like maybe she is playing games too for she simply could have
asked your mom for your number. Your mother certainly has no reason
to know how to get ahold of her.

Strange. Being a woman myself I would think she gave this info to
your Mom hoping you would contact her.

Joy...
Yup. That's what it looks like to me too. My suggestion? Don't.

**Dalin**...
Real hard though, I bet, since she dumped him then flattered him by
telling his mom she had saved all his letters, etc. I'm afraid the
curiosity would get the better of me and if it was ok with JD's wife I

david...
don't ask. build a taller fence. lock the truck. wimmen who return with all
the love letters are scary... :) big ego trip, I can imagine... ...

that placard is beautiful. so glad that you have it... and it looks so
wonderful on the blog...

remember - lock the truck... :)

might e-mail her. She was a part of JD's past and to this day he may
wonder why she "dear John-ed" him. Closure, you know?

Jean B....
That's odd. Is she married? Looking? Wishing and hoping?
