You are so right. We can not longer keep them as pets, some law was
passed about keeping wild animals. Perhaps it is for the better.

How 'bout if they are orphaned or injured?

the kitten. How long did you have him? Did he live in the house with
you?

Arch (TX)...

We had him/her (whichever) for about a year. Turned him loose in the
wild as he started getting a bit cantankerous. We were afraid that he
might harm one of the neighborhood kids trying to pet him. I think the
problem was that it was approaching the mating urge. Most animals get
a bit bizzar at those times.
