shadow has new fan mail... :-))

Well, if you have the time she can be taught to walk. But it takes a lot of
patience on your part. Cowboy finally caught on if he wanted a walk he'd
better do it. When she pulls on the leash, stop, pause, turn around and go
the other way saying, "Heel" or whatever you want. Your first walk and many
others afterwards will probably not get you out of the driveway with all
that stopping and turning around. You could start out practicing in the
house. Yorkie's are smart dogs so she'll get the hang of it. But, they are
also stubborn and it will not be the way she wants to walk so she'll figure
she can outwait you. Or, she can just be her darling little drama queen
puppy self. I'd have a hard time resisting her myself.

I know what you mean, Dalin. My brother will not wear sweaters. If he wants
to dress up, it's a shirt and jacket. Otherwise, a T-shirt or a sweatshirt,
depending on the weather. Or a flannel shirt, if anyone wanted to make him
one that was really comfortable.

I love the pink silk on Shadow.

pink morning coat. words on back say 'Drama Queen'... and she dearly
loves the gift... she agreed to pose for the NG in her new coat and that
photo is now on the NG blog... she was certainly surprised to receive mail
today addressed to "Miss Shadow Kirk"... ... the gift made her day...
and ours as well... :))

I took her out this afternoon and there were some little boys playing
in the street about six houses away. Her little tale was wagging and
she wanted to go to those boys so bad! She would walk towards them
and then stop and run the other way, over and over. By the time we
worked our way down the street a little further their mother had
called them in. I need to rent a little boy!

Although she agreed to pose I read in the eyes "What are they doing to me
now?". :-)

She loves her coat, I took her walking in it this afternoon and the
lady across the street just drooled over her. She was actually a
little scared because it was her first time on the couch. She didn't
think she belonged there. :-) And I figured it was the only way to
get her to sit still for a picture. It still took 10 shots to get one
that was halfway decent.
