Evan (three yrs.) dressed as a 50s teen for Halloween. Reminds me of
Jean B....
|
Oh, wow! He is just too cute! And I can't believe how
grown-up he looks!

Dalin,
That is just so cute. How grown up he looks.

He's growing up too quickly for me! And I don't think he had any idea
of what he was supposed to be.

I would have to agree he probably had no idea. I doubt if my cute little
neighbor had any idea he was a Nascar driver either. But, knowing his dad it
was easy to know why that would be his first Halloween costume.

That is too beautiful for words. He's going to grow up to be a lady
iller. :)

I just hope I'm around to see what he becomes. I was thinking when I
was his father's age, Bob was already 19 years old.

And Evan's first costume last year was a doctor. I think his dad is
putting the idea in his head early.

That is great. If he were at more door he probably would have gotten a
little extra. The look is perfect. He's a cutie. Or has he reached the age
yet where he would rather I said handsome?
|
|
he's growing up too fast. :-(
Jean B....
|
It probably seems even faster to grandparents! :-( indeed.
It seems practically like yesterday--well maybe last year-that
he was born!

I still find it hard to believe our son is a father. In my mind he is
so often that chubby little boy kneeling by the bed with me saying his
prayers. Now I lay me down to sleep ... I can close my eyes and still
hear his voice. Where do the years go so quickly?
Jean B....
|
I dunno, but I wish we could reverse or slow that trend.
I picture Leah when she could stand under the bathroom sink,
or buried in a pile of leaves. Now she's a bit taller than I am.
**Lin**...

Yes, sometimes you just wish you could hold them again as a baby, with
that beautiful fresh from the bath smell. :-) We didn't take very
many pictures back then either. I don't know why. On a tight budget
I imagine. :-(

I have lots of pics from about 3 months old through 3.5 years
old. Then much less from the care-giving era. Sniff.
