As a matter of fact I do not like beer, or wine either:-))

I have a shelf of soda bottles.
We just had our five year old Maytag side by side refrigerator
repaired. We were getting ice in the bottom of the freezer which is
supposed to be frost free. The repairman was here for about an hour,
put in a new timer and besides the $49.50 service call, they charge
$145 an hour! So for a part that was $89.98 we got a bill of $302
plus change! No wonder Maytag repairmen are "the loneliest people in
the world". No one can afford them!

Joy...
Wow! It sounds as thought they're trying to put refrigerators in the same
category as printers and other electronic devices - cheaper to replace than
to repair.

Jeepers, that's close to the cost of a new one.

Hey! I remember that washer knob issue. I had that replaced
(free) years ago.... I gather it was a known problem....
