Paco,
I heard on the radio where the entire country is suffering from "Disaster
Fatigue" with all of the terrible acts of nature going on all over the
world. The charities are getting worried about future giving.

I was reading something similar but it did not put a lable on it like
"fatique". It did mention that within the last five years there have
been a great many reports of storms and earthquakes and fires and folks
are becoming a bit numb to it all. I admit to a little "numbness"
myself, but it has served to keep me mindful of being as prepaired as I
can be. I've not restorted to buying emergency food supplies and
building an underground shelter and etc. 'cause I'm not a loon, but do
keep watch over hardware like lamps and generator and tools and etc..
Heck, I remember stories of people spending the family fortune
prepairing for Y2K. I do encourage that everyone should be a little less
complacent and do a little more planning, tho, and it sems that the
"fatique" has caused people to do the opposite.

I still have plenty of batteries from last year. It was good to have my
battery powered 2 inch tv but kind of strainful on the eyes. So I wore
reading glasses to watch tv. LOL
