david...
yes, with encouragement from BJ and others... i managed to remove a huge

david...
well, i followed your advice and bought a big storage box... gives me an
option other than 'throw' or 'keep'... now i can store in attic until the
whatever selfdestructs and then gets tossed... :-))

Yoj...
Oh, like putting leftovers in the refrigerator until they spoil and you can
throw them away?

and i have a few classic software items that i may try to sell on ebay...
if anyone's interested... for example, i have an unopened copy of Wordstar
from 1983... somewhere somebody's gotta want it... :-))

however, my current priority is to get rid of this marvelous stereo
system... if it were springtime i'd set on the curbsite and wait for
someone to take it... but in winter that's tough... but i do feel GREAT!!

Yoj...
Yes, it does feel good to get rid of things. Have you checked the
classified section of your local newspaper? Some papers will let you list
things free if you're giving them away.

pile of valuable junk from my 'office' today... :-)) i've complained
earlier how technology never grows old, and that was my challenge...
getting rid of items we never use, but that are in good condition...

TO THRIFT STORE:
- 2 beautiful SLR cameras, one in a nice leather case
- 1 perfect fm/am boombox radio with cassette player
- 1 awesome HP Deskjet Plus printer that's been unused for 6 years and
like new
- 25 cassettes of beautiful christmas music
- 10 books on a variety of computer topics...

TO JUNK:
- 15 books and old software CDs

all of it was in perfect condition, but technology accumulates in our
lives and we weren't using them and finding homes for all of it was
impossible.. and resale value was too little for the time needed. I know
someone somewhere would have liked them, but i can't find them...

NOW,
I just need to find a home for a nice Kenwood 100 watt component stereo
with 15" woofers.... i hate to see it go to the trash and it creates
awesome sound... maybe the kids next door would like it, but i'm
hesitant to imply to parents that a 20 yr old stereo would be a valued
gift... dang! things shuddent last so long... and then there's that 4 yr
old digital camera... works great, but bigger than current models...

Chakolate...
Fer goo'ness sake, don't throw it out! Send it to me.

I feel a big weight has been lifted... there's still more to clear out,
but this opens up some windows...

david...
well, i tried that... but then it all ends up on the lawn and then dalin
makes me go clean up the yard.... :)
