Danger while shopping

Goromoff...
Gentlemen, I have a confession to make. Today, I had a little palpitation
of the heart - nothing disastrous or dangerous, you understand, but
disturbing nonethless.

I went down into town with my Dear Lady Bride, to do a little shopping. Our
town centre is pedestrianised, that is, what used to be a busy road,
thronged with traffic, is now closed to vehicles, leaving it for foot
traffic.

However, we have system whereby certain diabled people, myself included,
have a permit which allows us to access this area in order to get close to
the shops.

There was I, sitting in the car, waiting for my Inamorata to return from
her walk some way away along the street, when a lady came up to the bench
seat in front of me, and sat down.

She was a bonny lass, I have to admit, and, due to the glorious sunshine
and very warm conditions, she was wearing a pretty flowered dress, low cut.
As she leaned over so as to rearrange the contents of her shopping bags, it
became obvious to me that she was not encumbered by any underpinnings.

My poor old heart started to go pitter patter, pitterpatt,
pittpattpittpatt. Honestly, I tried to ignore her, but I mean - she was
right in front of me. so what was I to do?

Fortunately, she left after a couple of minutes.

I'm OK now, my poor ole heart has settled down, my metabolism has been
sorely tried and tested, and I don't think I will be the same again - ever!

Stan...
Sounds to me as if it was the "real Goromoff challenge"

Goromoff...
it was, Stan - I think I will go back tomorrow to see if I pass or not!

david...
good move. you need to keep going back until your heart retains a normal
beat... even if it means going every day... :)

Stan (how do you spell day co tah j?) :):)

NHunkele...
Maybe you could talk your doctor into using something like this for a
stress test.
Norma

Goromoff...
no thank you, Norma - far too much stress for me, girlie!

Jean B....
Pshew! You had me worried for a moment! :-) Now, I think
this is cause for something other than worry. It's a sign
that you're still alive--which is a good thing....
