And I have got four, count them FOUR daffodils in bloom! 1 in front yard and
3 in back!

I am sooooooooooooooooooooo jealous! How I long to see my daffies in
bloom, courtesy of a wonderful neighbor who had too many and gave some
to me!!!!! :o)

Oh I just love daffodils and jonquils and the mini daffs too. They
are just so bright and cheerful. I don't have any planted but I buy
cut ones in the spring at the grocery store. They don't last too long
though in water, but they aren't too expensive either and I love to
put a vase of them on the kitchen table. Looking out at the snow and
then looking at the bright cheery yellow just makes me so happy. :-)

Barry and Jingles have discussed summer a lot on sixtyplus. Summer in Oz is
usually *very* hot. Toddy loves it. Many others don't.

Here, anyway, they have lowered the amount of snow we will
get--not that that means much.

Nah, 12 degrees just knocks hats off. Now 90 degrees knocks 18
wheelers off the road. (This really happened during our last
windstorm.)

I will give you another sign of hope Dalin...I have had Robins gathering in
me...
my yard over the last few weeks...they keep looking at me telling me they
are ready to go home for the summer...I hope this makes your day a wee bit
brighter..

Oh yes! We look for them every year. Usually I see my first one
around the end of March. I feel sorry for them as often we get a bad
storm after they arrive and they are ground feeders, so it must be
hard for them to find something to eat.
