JD Cooper...
Just stuff to look at.

mj...
Great shots especially your photo. I loved the 66 gas station and the Edsel.

JD Cooper...
Thank you. I have been told I'm very handsome.

**Dalin**...
LOL! That's a cute barbecue grill. But a whole lot of it is pretty
useless.

Debbie Ames...
Nice pix JD, I really like the gas station and the "methane factory."

Keep up the good picture-taking. It's fun too see through other's eyes!

Bigbazza...
Ha...You old 'Nag'....So they put you out to 'Pasture' then ...:-))

Love the 58 Wagon..What make is it again...JD ?

JD Cooper...
That is a 58 Edsel wagon... I forget the name of that particular
version, something like "Pacer" or similar. This one is the finest and
most pristine example I have ever seen anywhere. Anyway, Edsel was a
wretched failure and plummeted Ford motor company into the abyss of
endless shame for more than a decade. The Edsel premiered in 1958 and
ended production with just a few 1960 versions which were little more
than a '60 model Ford "Galaxie" with different chrome. You can see many
web pages dedicated to te Edsel.

Jean B....
Hehe. Well, I liked those self-portraits and the gas station
the best.

Annie...
Me too!
Annie

Bigbazza...
Who...By Eugene ? (No offence Eugene).. :-))
No, I am not.. but thanks for the compliment!

david...
hey, JD, you're creating a fan club of a bunch of us for your texas
photos... i enjoy all of them. you have a real eye for finding material. :)

i'm ignorant of horses... is that a particular breed? and was it just
standing there by the fence when you came along? were all these photos on
route 66? (i really really liked that old gas station....) and where is
that airplane stored? an aircraft museum? and dalin and i once had a
beatiful Edsel so the photo brought back sweet memories. was a beautiful
car... as i recall, the engine was somewhere around 420 cubic inches... :)

JD Cooper...
What? That is a pic of *me*! Are you confused?

Otherwise, I should have been more attentive to detail.

The Edsel was at the Panhandle Plains Museum in Amarillo in the fall of
2004. The Shakelton was at the Confederate Air Force Headquarters in
Midland, Texas at about the same time.

No, not all pics I show are along the old route 66. The roadway has a
very short (appx 200 mile) run thru the panhandle and most of it is very
boring and uninteresting save the "Caddilac Ranch" which still exists. I
have a ton of pics that I sort thru, all of them from various places,
and I jes simply have a little fun and make up stories to go along with
whatever I choose to do on any given day...
