Well, that's pretty cold. It sounds sort-of normal by our
standards. We are in a warm spell, which is about to be gone,
perhaps with some snow coming. (I know you love that stuff
too! ) Actually I saw some rhododendrons in bloom today.
(They normally just bloom in the spring.) They must be
confused. I've noticed more of this type of confusion up here
in recent years....

Well, I said it was +8,9 - NOT minus 8,9. +8,9 is +8,9 ABOVE freezing
point of water. And that is very unnormal. Average temp for this november
is by far the warmest since temp registrating started 140 years ago!
