Spent the afternoon playing croquet with granddaughter number four. We spent
a lot of time chatting, giggling and sharing a diet Coke!

Great shots. What lovely country. Curiosity question..are the palm
trees native or imported, like Florida's were?

As I recall, croquet was one of the many sporting pastimes I'm not good at.
But I know I would have enjoyed myself if I had been with you. I'm sure your
granddaughter would have offered to help me.

LOL! yes, she is becoming quite the expert after two games!
I play Association Croquet which is like billiards on a lawn, all angles and
tactics! Very difficult. So to keep her interested I'm teaching her Golf
Croquet which is much easier, while I introduce her to the shots she needs
to know for the harder game. Seems to be working so far!

I didn't realize that was Charmaine. She's gotten so big! How is she
doing on the guitar? I *think* she was your granddaughter who was
learning it.

Seems a nice afternoon, our grand-children bring us such happiness.
Number four is Charmaine ... I don't forget her.

:-)
That was the name of a popular song in the US in the 1970's. Had an
entirely different meaning.

Now why did Morning Glory just jump into my mind!??

Emilie also look like a young lady. She is learning to be an engineer in
computers. She goes in high school not far where they live so she can come
back home every weeks.

Is she in boarding school, Huguette? If I am understanding you correctly,
she is coming home at weekends?
She must be very bright to have already started on her course. She must get
that from her Grandma!
