dae...
Just a little update on what is NOT going on. I haven't been able to
contact the Surgeon to find out when I'm going to have the AAA surgery. I
thought it was scheduled for the first week in December. Now I'm not so
sure. Meanwhile I just sit and wait, and wait, and wait. I've known about
this since they found it in April but nothing has been done.
I'm sorry if I've not been nice on the Group, but I'm not being a very nice
person to be around lately. I'm rather fed up with the lack of interest of
this "life threatening" condition. Once I'm done with it, I hope I can get
on with the other surgeries ASAP as there are things I want to do that I
can't do now.
Just letting you know what I'm all about.

Another suggestion Don is to call your primary care physician and ask
her to find out your surgery date. She should have no problem doing
that and if there isn't one she would be the one to take ownership of
the problem and get you one.

Don and his Devil

Beth...
Go ahead and be grouchy, Don. We are all pulling for you and your devil to
get this done the way you want.
Beth

Joy...
I don't blame you, Don! I think my blood pressure goes up 10 points every
time I think about the way you're being treated. If I get that angry, you
must be really furious.

Anne Jackson...
Aw, what a bummer, Don! This must be so frustrating for you!

mmj1...
You can be as crotchety as you want! You are still a favorite of mine along
with your Devil. I'll keep my fingers crossed that things will soon be on
the right path.

Love,
mj

Val Adams...
I like Norma's idea too. screwm if they cant take serious what has got you
hanging from the lip, ya know? There is times when tantrums are JUSTIFIED!

**Lin**...
Call the office Don and ask the receptionist to find out when it's
scheduled. If it isn't, and you can't get ahold of the surgeon, ask
to speak to his nurse and do a little screaming.

Norma...
Here's a thought. Call the office and instead of asking for the
doctor, ask them to refresh your memory on the scheduled date for your
surgery. If it *is* scheduled, then you will know. If it isn't, then
ask them to have the doctor contact you right away as you are going out
of town....or you're experiencing strange discomfort...or some sort of
fabrication to get his/their attention.

Jean B....
Ditto. This is outrageous.
I like your thinking, Norma. ;-)
