I woke up this morning to fresh snow on the ground. As I sat drinking a
fresh cup of hot coffee I learned on the news what was coming high winds and
blowing snow. Some places in the high country would get hurricane force
winds today with blowing snow. By 10:30 a.m. looking outside I could see
higher puffy white clouds in the distance over the mountains that looked
stationary with lower dark gray clouds that were moving in a hurry. Then it
hit all at once wind blowing at 40+ mph. and it hasn't let up since. Now
it's snowing and blowing snow. I can see a wall of white coming towards our
house and know in a short while it will be a total white out. I'm inside
cozy warm enjoying what mother nature has brought me. Life in the high
country of Colorado is never dull especially this time of year.

Ack! More about the lack of progress on the medical front
than on the storm front. So, you saw some snow? I don't want
to see any....

Well, I don't think I'm kidding. The weather is on its way here. I don't
know if you will get it or not. It doesn't sound like it will be as bad as
Clouddancer is getting it.
As for my friend going to Altoona, well that is what my other friend told
me. There must be another one than the one in Pennsylvania:-)

Wow, Don. What is your temp now? Is the storm supposed to
arrive in the form of snow there? If so, ugh--esp. if you
have to get anywhere. Speaking of that, any progress on the
scheduling front?

Wow, is this your second storm, or have there been more since

the bad one you wrote about? Winter sure comes early there.

your snug abode.
