Yes, that is lovely. It brings back memories of my Dad's cactus garden.

I bought a little cactus once, you know the kind in the two inch pot?
It had such a pretty salmon colored flower on it. But upon close
inspection the flower was fake!!!

LOL That gave me a loud laugh and a big smile this afternoon. Now I'm in a
better mood to start packing for Ben Lomond. I hate packing!!!!!!

Of course, I'm a guy, so packing means tossing a few things in a bag and
ready to be hittin' the road! Start to stop, prolly three minutes.

I don't like it either, but I hate unpacking even more. When I get
home from somewhere I just want to sit, maybe look at the mail, water
the plants etc. Now I have all the dog stuff to unpack too.

That's what David does. But ... he often turns to me and says did you
bring the map? Uh, do you by any chance have any fingernail clippers?
Ummm.... got any aspirin with you? Say, did you pack a few CDs to
listen to in the car? Etc.

i'm glad that *you're* telling her and not me. that means i don't have to

Yabut every time we have to get off the highway and go into a town we
lose time on the road! We always plan on driving so many miles a day
cuz there is usually someone we are meeting at a certain place at a
certain time.
