gruffydd...
travelling in the car this morning came to series of lazy bends. coming
around a bend, towards me, was a car with it's offside wheel down the line.
came closer and saw it was young female driving, and it seem that her hand
was waving side to side. as it came much closer I could see just why her
hand was moving back and forward across her face.
she was applying powder to her face, and she held a powder puff, the powder
box was in her other hand which held the wheel.

Saw a similar thing the other week but this time it was a man at the
wheel having a shave! Admittedly it was in a queue of slow moving
traffic but still a dangerous thing to do I would have thought
He could have cut himself!!!
No - joking apart I believe if you are in charge of a car you should
give your full attention to your own and other peoples actions

Sue...
There otta be a law!!!!! Stan and I have come to the conclusion we are
the only two people in the world who drive a car without a cell phone stuck
to our ear!
There otta be a law! Or if there is.....use it!

This morning coming home from breakfast I saw a lady trying to light a
cigarette with her car window open, a cellphone wedged between her head and
shoulder and driving a car while seriously trying to get out of the wind to
light that cigarette. That is multi-tasking I would think:-)

messages, and then check the messages when I come to a place where I can
conveniently pull off the road. My friends and relatives all know I do this,
and usually don't even bother to phone if they think I'm on the road, unless
they want me to stop and run an errand along the way.

haven't ventured up here, so you haven't seen me driving. My
observations are much the same. One can see how it affects

Amen! The other day I saw a woman trying to get into a space in a parking
lot. It was tight, and she had to go back and forth. The fact that she was
steering with one hand and holding the phone to her ear with the other
couldn't have made it any easier. I quickly went to another aisle of the
parking lot.

their driving.... I also don't understand this CONSTANT need
to be yakking on the phone.
