Biting the bullet

My computer woes keep multiplying. I have been advised by a couple of
experts to use my Restore disk. I hate to do it, but I think I'm going to
have to. I don't know how much I'll lose by doing it, but things just keep
getting worse. If you don't hear from me, you'll know it went blooey. ;-)

I have a meeting this evening, so I may not be back on until tomorrow.
Actually, I have a pretty full day tomorrow, so it may be as much as 24
hours before I report in.

I see you are with us so something is working!
You have certainly had your share of "stuff" lately. I do hope all the
mechanical problems are taken care of.

Thanks, Norma. I still have a couple of things to work out, but at least no
harm was done.

Yup. So far, so good. I tried to print something and it didn't work, so I
still have at least one problem to work out. I don't know about the
intermittent ones yet. The account for receiving email was changed again,
so that isn't fixed. OTOH, I didn't lose anything when I re-installed the
OS.

Wellll, I'm sending good luck vibes, although a) they are
going out too late, and b) you won't be seeing them (at least
in any relevant timeframe) if things go awry.
