Boy, do I have an ouchie !

Just home from the dentist.. two implants done today... they chip away
bone, file, and dig around, then insert the implants... the anesthetic
kept wearing off, so he kept shooting me !
took a little over two hours. Now it is wearing off a bit, and it
hurts ! Bette

Bette, did they tell you to take pain medication before the numbing
wears off? If you don't it will be very hard to get ahead of the pain.
Also, whenever there is bone involved there will be more pain and
swelling. I hope that they told you this also. Ice packs are helpful
for pain and swelling.

Take it easy for the next few days.....

down the road when it's all done you'll have an awesome smile.

Did he give you a prescription for pain pills? That doesn't sound
very pleasant. Have you tried ice? Can't hurt and might help. I
don't think I could hold my mouth open for two hours!
