Our local forecast ~~~~~~ ugh!
A lake effect snow watch remains in effect from Wednesday morning
through late Thursday Night.
Lake effect snow is expected to move south toward areas along...
and north of the New York state thruway corridor from Metro
Syracuse to Utica on Wednesday morning. Lake effect snow may be
heavy at times... and will probably last until Friday. Over a foot
of snow is possible in some areas.
A lake effect snow watch means there is a potential for lake
effect snows to produce 7 inches or more of snow in 12 hours or
less... which could significantly impact travel. If you are
planning travel in the watch area... stay tuned to NOAA Weather
Radio... or your favorite local media outlets for further details
and updates from the National Weather Service. You can also visit

well, if it's any consolation, this danged global warming is causing us
our chilliest winter in years!!! we are down into the 40's and rainy and
there exists the possibility of freezin' precipitation later this week.
bummer city in paradise!

What do you do for heat JD? Heat pump, fireplace? Space heaters?
Our watch has turned into a warning and it's coming down pretty fast
now and I would rather have snow any day than freezing precip!
