What a neat looking vehicle. If I didn't have 8 yr. old and 12 yr. old
cars that ran well I would be sorely tempted.

I haven't a clue, Jeanette! I'm not even a little bit interested in
the vehicle. The vehicle before last was a 4X4, crew-cab pickup,
with a 'Truckman top over the back, to accommodate all 4 dogs.
I don't remember it as being a particularly rough ride, but the
rear seats were none too comfortable on a long trip...! 8-(
Consequently, I only ever travelled in the back *once*!

It's a mini-bus that converts to a camper van, and I think it's
an ugly looking thing! 8-(
Still, I won't be driving it...

Do you have one? We have a tiny little camper we pull along but I
love it. I'd probably love a bigger one even more.

Yes, we have a five-berth Swift caravan...cooker, fridge, shower,
etc, etc, etc.... we bought it so that we could take the dogs on
holiday with us. They really didn't like going into the kennels...
We toured Europe several times with the 'van, too. In fact, we went
over to Holland with the 'van a couple of years ago. That's when I
met Graham and Loes...
Bill has been agonising over replacing the caravan for a couple of
years now. Being a Libran, making decisions is difficult for him...
the scales swing up then down, then up, then down again... I just
let him get on with it....I hate vacillation! When I want something
I just go and buy it!! That makes life _so_ much simpler.... ;-)

If he is thinking of replacing the caravan for that mini-bus it
doesn't look like you will have near as much room for the dogs once
you open the bed. Tell him to get something bigger. :-)

I gather that he wants it for 'overnight' stops, when he's away at meetings
and conferences. The plan is to use it to tow the caravan, I think...
we only have one dog left now, and he's thirteen y.o. so he may not be
with us for much longer. Bill says there'll be no more, after Wattie's
gone...but, we shall see! ;-)

Well that would be nice. Small, compact, maybe ideal for those kind
of stops instead of a hotel or something. As long as you keep the
caravan too. :-) I thought he was replacing the caravan.

He may do so, but with a new caravan.... One can never tell what Bill
might do, or when he'll do it! There's sure to be a lot of agonising
first, whatever he decides! ;-)

Well at today's prices you can't blame him. Whatever vehicle we get
next will cost more than the house we live in now.

This week he does, Marsha! Bill is one of those infuriating men, who
are never happy with any car for more than a few months...then he starts
going the rounds of the dealerships again, coming home with loads of bumph
about this car, and that car and the other car....but then, Bill is a Libran,
and has great trouble coming to a decision...
Me, I only want a car that'll get me from A to B...reasonably
economically!

As long as all he comes home with is a stack of brochures, what's the
harm? Or does he actually come home with the vehicle?
