If it works, you may just see a pic of some of my back yard.
If not...
I am not happy to see that my Canon software seems to have
disappeared. It made sending pics easy, resizing them, etc.
I assumed I was going to be able to use that.

Pretty yard Jean! How far back is it wooded?
Jean B....
|
I dunno, because my yard segues into a wooded area that
doesn't belong to us. If and when the leaves are all on the
trees, one can't see any houses through there (which is
exactly the number of houses I want to see). I sure hope the
lack of leaves is just because those trees leaf out later and
not because they've all been chewed by caterpillars.

backyard looks very nice! and i'm glad you 'took the plunge' to post to
blog....
on software, many software vendors, such as kodak, put their software on
their websites for free. i know nothing of canon, but this website does
indicate that downloads are available... good luck.. :)

Great yard (even with the trash LOL) The trees here are finally
leafing out and hiding the view of the main road from my deck.

Another person who likes their privacy! Some people think we're weird
when we like our privacy!

Isn't it nice when that happens? I hate it when the trees are
bare, and it is more opened up. I like my privacy (and that's
an understatement).

Isn't that true, Paco! One reason why I moved here is because
it was pretty private--esp. in the back yard. Then the
neighbors started cutting down trees, so they have a perfect
view into my yard. I really don't like that. I am letting a
buffer zone naturalize, with some help from me. I put some
elderberries in there, and they seem to be taking off this
year, so there's some hope.
I think nature is peaceful, and I need as much of that as I
can get. :-)

I did an end run and dragged it off my old desk top. Now I
also realize that not all of my photo folders are there. I
need to find my pics of Mingy. If I am NOTICING missing
folders, I wonder how many more have gone astray!!!! Waaahhh.

uh, download picasa (it's free). one of its strengths is its ability to
locate all of the photos on your computer and organize them for you. if
there's a lost photo on your hard drive, picasa will find it and organize
it... :)

Are there any downsides of this, David? If you recommend it,
can I assume the answer is "no"?

Speaking of your statues... have you sen those silly "faces" that fit on
tree trunks? They are just plain weired.

Ick! You have those down there too? I have seen a few of
them, and I really don't like them. I think trees (without
faces) are lovely and peaceful. Who is selling these things?
I was wondering whether it was WalMart or something.

yay! It works just fine!!
Nice back yard....

Thanks, JD. Of course, that's just the part of the back yard
that I kind-of like. Now that I see I can do this, I'll try
walking around with the camera some more! Actually, I have
sent one more pic and will possibly send yet another. The
third is kind-of disappointing. I prolly can't get it right
unless I lie down on the sidewalk....
BTW, I found my camera software on my old desktop and dragged
it onto the new one. Hmmmph.
