Diane...
Great pics as usual Jim. Nice to catch up on Axel....how gorgeous.
Well, you had the moon, all you needed was a gypsy and a skylark and a field
in the mist...etc etc Bette will know what I'm talking about! LOL!
Lovely, thanks
Di
I just put some pictures on the blog
moon rise over central Nevada a week ago.

david...
great looking kids, jim... thanks for posting them. :-))

what makes that highway so lonely? i always heard the loneliest highway was
in west texas to el paso... is it the distance, or the absence of any sign
of life? or other?

Jim Everman...
I think it's lonely because there are very few people out there and
it's a long drive. This is the sort of road where if you decide you need
to stop and pee, you just stop, get out and pee. No pulling off the
highway, why bother? I once stopped like that, then got my revolver out
and shot a few rounds at a can out in the desert. I could see 10 miles
or so in every direction, not another soul in sight.

Between Fallon (Top Gun School) and Ely there are two small towns.
They both have fuel but it is about 1/3 higher in price than back in
civilization.

But mostly, I think, it's because the highway signs say it is ("Route
50, The Loneliest Road in America").

I learned that with no picture attached, the files send at a much higher
speed.. but the picture requires some imagination.

**Dalin**...
Nice pictures Jim. I can't believe how Axel has grown. Seems like

Those are great pics--all of them! Is that the wagon YOU made?

Jim Everman...
Uh.. yes, it is.

Yoj...
Nice photos! I went to the blog to look at Jakes' Willa and found your
photos, so I was able to enjoy both.

JD Cooper...
Very good! Cute kids, great moon!

mj...
Loved the pictures, Jim. Your grandkids are just super. But, you already

Jane...
It's very nice, Jim.

I was looking for a wagon a couple of months ago, but there really was
nothing to be found in good old-fashioned wood. Since it was for a two-year
old, I wanted it to be sturdy, but the only wooden ones looked rather
rickety to me, and I wanted something that would last a few years. So I

Jim Everman...
I built the wagon for Axel for his second birthday. It is made of 1/2
and 3/4 inch oak. The wheels are lawnmower wheels. Also, the sides come
off and the tailgate drops down. It is rugged. ;-)

bought a plastic one that came highly recommended. The young man (about 16)
who served me was a former student of my brother's and he told me he had had
the same kind, and it was still intact. It wasn't even the most expensive
one.

My brother (ever the joker) told me Hayden had loved the box. But his father
told me he plays with it all the time, so I guess it was a good choice.

Your grandchildren are great-looking. Thanks for posting the pics.

Yoj...
That is a nice wagon. It looks very sturdy, and it's pretty, too.

Jean B....
It's lovely!

Jim Everman...
Thanks. :-)

mj...
Guess I'll have to call you the Wagonmaster from now on.

know that. I've been on that lonely Nevada highway. I assume it's as lonely
as ever or has it had a population splurge. :-)

Jim Everman...
Thanks. The moon rise was neat - it was still quite light out.

Jim Everman...

dae...
Jim,

Great looking family you have there fella. I bet they were excited to see
Grandpa. Oh, I liked being "mooned" as well. Are you back home now?

Don and his Devil

Jim Everman...
Thanks Don.. yep, back home again. I'd planned on doing several things
but none are getting done. Well, except for the goofing off part.

Diane...
DON! Go stand in the corner!
Di.....:))

Jean B....

Diane...
Did you mean a 'ShePee'?....or maybe something along the line of
reconstructive surgery?
Di....:))

Jean B....
Certainly NOT surgery. That seems just a wee bit drastic!
I thought is sounded doable even from a female perspective. No?

Yoj...
I suspect it would depend on the capacity of your bladder. ;-)

Jean B....
But it's in the middle of nowhere....
It is still pretty lonely. Spooky lonely sometimes. I sort of like the
drive though.

just yesterday you announced his birth.

Jim Everman...

mj...
We found it kind of fascinating ourselves so I know what you mean about
spooky lonely.
Thanks. Time goes fast when you're having fun.

Or like the ole bullfrog sez, "Life is fun when you're having flies!"
