On late Friday afternoons....
A lesson learned!

And doesn't it seem that that is when problems arise?

Actually, if you are serious, it may be time to locate another doctor.
I've *never* had a problem. My Doctor will return my call within 15
minutes or so. I had an emergency on a weekend last year, and called.
He told me to go directly to the Emergency Room. When I arrived, he
had pre arranged the surgery, and they took me right in. He's not a
surgeon, but he was present when I woke up in recovery.

What a great thing to happen. Guess I can't complain as my cardiologist
and I spent New Years Eve together.

There *are* some good ones out there. People just have to look around.

Ah yes. I remember that. How have you been doing since then?
Okay?

Pretty good, Jean. I really hated to give up my doctor in Florida, but I
found one up here that I like "almost" as well. Of course, he and I have
not been "up close and personal". LOL

Well, I'm sure glad your health has stabilized, if that is the
case! You must be working on your diet, while some of us have
not done too well in that regard....

That sounds rare. Is this a private practice as vs. an HMO?
If I call on the weekend, I do NOT speak to my doctor.
Usually they send you to the ER. I don't even think their
facilities are open on the weekend for triage, but I haven't
had need of that for a while.
