I now live in an apartment in a place with over 1,000 apts.
Today a guy rings my bell, comes in and chamges the battery in the smoke
alarm.
Pretty neat.

It sounds as though you're in a good apartment complex. If they do that
regularly, without being asked, they are probably good about taking care of
problems that arise. My son had a terrible time getting the shower fixed in
his apartment.

Won award too.

Yes, it looks really nice. I'm curious, though. Do you know why they
charge an extra $10 a month for a 2nd floor apartment? It seems to me that
people would be willing to pay extra not to have to climb stairs.

I think it is because they are quieter. And maybe a little safer.
Lots of younger people in here so stairs are no big deal to them.
Another story: I was in the office at going home time and the gals hugged each
other goodby.
Place has Halloween, Xmas and Easter stuff for kids.
Will have a get together on Thursday for all new tenants that came in this year.
I wound up via the old "Dumb Luck often beats the best planning." method.
Only downside is that it is pretty far out from most jobs (of course I do not
care).
I saw the hints about more pictures and may try.

It sounds beautiful! Especially the outdoor things. I liked that
"plenty of places to just relax with a picnic lunch".

That looks nice. I'd like to see more pics than they showed
on the site.

I live in a two-flat, and my landlord does the same thing. He's a very
good landlord. :-)
