Just a heads up for tonight. Sounds like some more heavy weather coming in.
Make sure you are aware. We got hit real hard on Wed. night. Sounds like
it could be a repeat.

Thanks for the warning. I'll try to wring the water out and slow down
the winds before we send it on to you - you've had enough.

Don, if it happens to be rain, lots and lots and lots of rain....just
send it down here. I am not asking for my own sake but I would like my
great-gandkids to see rain. They have heard us talk about it but then
they get that strange look on their faces just like when were are
discussing the tooth fairy.

That bad, huh? Send them to Scotland, _then_ they'll find out what
rain is! Just as well we've got all those bonnie lochs to store
it in.....although there _is_ word that the English want it...
Not the RAIN, you understand, just the WATER! 8-(

AnneJ,
We had very high winds, and fairly large hail in addition to a lot of rain.
Area's just a couple of miles East of me have declared a disaster area with
the Governor of the State. I don't know if he will go along with them
though.

They've been getting lots of rain in Alaska, too - at least in Valdez. My
mother says it has rained 18 out of the past 20 days.

I have some new friends (we met in MSN) who visited Scotland for a week,
at my behest, to see the dolphins in the Moray Firth. It has rained, at
some point, every single day! The mother and children were revelling in
it, but the father was not best pleased....they are on their way back to
polluted old London now, and the children were crying when we spoke last
night. They want their parents to move to Scotland, rain or no rain!
Mind you, it couldn't have been much fun, living in a tent (for the very
first time!) for a week, in the rain...
