I wish to apologise in adavance, for it may appear that I am setting up in
competition to the group blog; I promise you, I am not.

Dont be silly, this is not competition, this is enhancement, besides giving
us a chance to say we knew you when and being able to prove it. Both are
now in my favorites!

i agree, val. our NG blog is for occasional snippets and photos of life to
share. if people want to write long stories with multiple chapters and/or
many many photos, then goro is on the right track.... create your own blog
or website. the nice thing is that you can create a blog now with no
technical knowledge at all... :))

For some time now, I have had a hankering to create a web page for my Home
Town, not officially, you understand, merely for myself.

The easiest way is for me to create a blog as I do not have to faff about
with web creators and posting and all that stuff - that is done for me,
thankfully.

As it contains stories, illustrated by photos - or should that be photos
illustrated by stories? - I did not want to tie up or flood the Group's blog.
I wish no offence, so I hope you will understand.

At the moment, the blog contains just the one item, and the address is:-

comments will be welcome. If favourable, then I shall continue, if not, then
I wipe it and trouble you no more :-)
