Test results

Saw the Doctor this afternoon and got the results of my tests.
1) Pulmonary test-Excellent
2)CAT scan of lungs-Excellent
3) Blood test-Better, need to drastically cut down on cigarettes. Carbon
monoxide level in blood very high.

Well, that is a relief to me and my Daughter who joined me in the Doctor's
Office. She couldn't believe the results as I've smoked for 50+ years. I'm
really trying to quit, but we all know that is easier said than done for
some of us hard core smokers.
Tomorrow, Friday, I will schedule, hopefully, the carotid artery angiogram.
The contact a surgeon and see what needs to be done, the stent or the
opening of the artery. The Doctor wants this done as quickly as possible.

So, I've been kind of nervous for a couple of weeks now and am much relieved
although the surgery(s) facing me are somewhat daunting.
Thanks to all of youse guys and gals for your support. Now I can keep the
cards, right:-))

Changing doctors seems to have made a big, positive difference in your
treatments.

Reading this made my morning! But if you want to make my afternoon too stop
smoking. Easier said then done I am sure but if you don't do it for your
yourself do it for your daughter, us and, of course, your Devil.

HURRAY! IMO, it is super great to begin to establish some order in what
seems to have been a very confusing selection of 'have-to's.

re smoking, hey, if my Gumba can quit, you can certainly cut down, he is
