either today or tomorrow, Windows users will receive a notice to install
IE7, the latest version of their browser. This is a big change. My thought
is to accept it, but if you really hate change, then stick with IE6. but
the clock is ticking... :) personally, I like IE7.

Coincidentally, I received an update to web-search desktop search the same day
I installed IE7. The computer became unstable, crashing after 3-4 hours
of operation. After the third bugcheck crash, I uninstalled web-search desktop
search and installed Copernic desktop search. So far, so good.
(The new Google search had privacy issues anyway.)

I can't hear you! ;-)
Every time I upgrade a program, it messes up my computer.

Right. I usually put off such things until I absolutely have
to do it--or I get a new computer....
