Different from my usual....

I been a playing with layout patterns for the cover of this next book....

This latest is a multi-layer which is a little bit of a booger but I like
the effect it gives to the depth.... Everyone knows this is Fixer and an
older version of Little Gracie.... Of course this is only a pattern so you
can't see the faces yet....

The Author liked it and asked a little favor....

ree hee! I HAVE to say stuff like that, they's whole FLOKS of them lidly
fairy types flittin round here. He just sent two or three some years back,
but I reckon they like the vittles.. ;)

Well if you all are going to talk about the fairies you have, I have a
framed signed print of "The Fixer" on my bedroom wall. :-) And it's
really special to me or I wouldn't have it there. Now don't tell
anyone. :-)

I have the Lily Pond Lady (Clair de Lune) on my ofice wall..not framed,
but she is signed! So THERE! :-P

i like it... :) I don't know how to describe the colors, but they're
really nice... seems like a translucent quality and appears as if light is
being reflected from them.... kewl!!

Almost like a dragonfly huh?? Its all tricks.... what your looking at is
really 3 different layers of "drawings" and computer enhancements.... With
tons of "erasing" It takes a lot of time but I like the effect so far....
and colors.... thats reds, blues, silver, greys and white to bring out the
"shine".... That little piece of drawing has taken me days.... ;-)

mikal, your talent just oozes from your pores... I cannot imagine what it
takes to achieve this, but I'm at least thankful that I can see the beauty
of your work... the colors, the translucency, the sparkle, the feeling of
light on light... just miraculous.... in my book, you're kinda'
special.. :)

A drawing that most of us couldn't create no matter how hard we tried.

Now I have to wait for pictures of my Authors friend to start the faces....
