It has been many years since I have had a cold but I sure have one now.
I am open to suggestions on what to do with it. I just found one
Robitussin and am dissolving it in my mouth. I looked it up on web-search
and I guess it is harmless. Must have caught from one of the Thanksgiving
crowd at my son's or sis-in-law's. I am miserable, can't stop coughing,
sneezing, stopped up sinus, runny nose. YUCK! Somebody please send me
a new body, a young one that doesn't get a cold! LOL

Another tip - drink lots of fluids, but avoid milk, since it encourages the
production of mucus. Other fluids help thin it out so you can get rid of it
more easily.

Probably too late for Zicam--unless it lessens the duration

Lots of rest and I always buy a lemon and make hot lemonade. It soothes the
body filled with icky cold germs...
Take care, Arch.

once you have it. In the future, get some Zicam nasal
spray/swabs. I find it is effective even if I wait until I
know I am definitely getting sick. I ignore that at my peril.
Oh yes, also, you undoubtedly have heard that chicken soup
actually helps. If you like spicy soup, make it spicy--which
really can clear you out. Maybe some steaming hot, spicy
chili would also help. :-)
I'd hug you, but I don't want your germs. Oh, what the heck:
