memorial service?

does anyone have info on a possible memorial service that may be done for
jim? many such services now allow Internet comments to be posted and I know
that many of us would like to make comments on how Jim was a part of us.

I spoke with his daughter Cathe a couple of hours ago. She said that they
have to figure some logistics, but they will have the memorial service with
fireworks that Jim wanted. She said it will probably be in a couple of
months. One of the girls will let me know, and I will pass the information

Where are they planning that, Joy.

She didn't say, but it will probably be on this coast. One daughter lives
here in Southern California, and the other two are in Oregon. She said that
she hopes by waiting a couple of months, Norma will feel ready to
participate. They want to make it a joyful occasion, because that's what
Jim would want, and I guess Norma just isn't up to that yet.

When I spoke with Gwen, she did, indeed, say it would probably
be on the west coast.
