Things that slow you down

Paco...
Did you ever have one of those days when you had to get things done in
a hurry, and everything and everyone you encountered slowed you down?
That's what I had today. From novice cashiers who don't know what they
are doing to over-friendly sales people to slow cars pulling in front
of you. Sheesh. And I drive the speed limit!

That's when you lean back, relax and tell yourself, "So be it. Go with
the flow."

And when U get back home, go to the fridge, grab a brew, take your
shoes off, sit down, and put your feet up on the ottoman- turn on the
TV, and chill out!!!! :o)

Dontcha just love it?!!!!!!!!

Yes indeed- I seem to have a lot of them thar days at times!! :O)

Cheer up, Paco-- better days ahead! :o)

Shirley...
Sorry Paco...I was probably one of those slow drivers in front of you. I am
always having people pass me no matter what speed I go at...

Hope the rest of your day is a speedy one..

Having people pass you is one thing. Pulling in front of somebody and

driving slower than they have been is totally different. Joy<<

I have had that happen when I was the only car on the road.
Someone just can't wait until I go by so they pull out right in front of me
so I have to put the brakes on so I don't hit them........and then putt down
the road at 10 MPH below the speed limit.

It makes me laugh sometimes too, Shirley--- when I am trying hard to

Joy...
Yes, that is extremely annoying. So is tailgating. The other evening I was
going somewhere on the freeway, and a pickup got into my lane and came right
up on my bumpter. I swear he wasn't more than 6 feet away. The lanes on
both sides were clear, but he made no attempt to change lanes and pass me.
He seemed intent on intimidating me. However, I don't intimidate easily.
When I'm tailgated, I'll put up with it for a mile or so, then I start
slowing down, very gradually. Eventually the tailgater gets the message and
passes me, which is just fine with me.

see on a blustery day, or in a severe rain.......... how these big
transport trucks pass like there's nothing at all going on!

I know their cabs are certainly higher off the ground than my car is,
but I don't see how they could possibly see any better, considering
the weather!
