My mother died at 12:20 this morning. I'll probably be on line for a little
while, but my son is coming over, and my daughter will be here this evening,
so I won't be posting much for the rest of the day.
It was peaceful, and a release from the problems she had been having over
the past few weeks and days. She told me several times she was ready to go.

mother is terminal and prays to die... The pain is so physical. I know you
were close to your mother from your prior posts. The blessing is that she
is at peace. My prayers are for you and your peace, in time. God be with

Thank you, Dorothy. I was very lucky to have her for so long, to have spent
time with her in May, and to have talked with her every day up until the day
she died, even though she was in Alaska and I am in California.
Yes, my children and I got together yesterday and discussed some of the good
times.

never forget the picture of her on that scooter! What a delightful
character she must have been. I've envied you the time you had with
her, and I am so sorry for your loss. One never outgrows the need for
her mother... Mine's been gone 32 years now and I think of her every
day.
